Le Petit Palais is chalet available for rent, located in Courchevel, a “ski resort located in the commune of Saint-Bon-Tarentaise in the French Alps, in the Tarentaise Valley, Savoie, Rhône-Alpes region, France”. Even though its exterior doesn’t look any different from other wooden mountain homes, the interior design is something that blows me away. First thing I noticed is this brilliant combination of dark and bright textures which, in fact, defined overall interior design and created such an elegant modern atmosphere.
Almost all mountain homes have slanted roofs, which is also great opportunity for high ceilings. I love how small spotlights are built into the wood in living room roof structure. Looks nice and romantic. Another impressive design idea is a decorative black stone wall in the dining room. I mean, wow. Plus black contemporary chairs and curtains. Just amazing. All the furniture used in this chalet interior design is contemporary, designed with the touch of luxury which only helps in creating this while elegance in interior design.
If you think how some colors would help a lot to lift the atmosphere, you’re probably right. One of 8 bedrooms is designed in blue. In my opinion, it fits perfectly. Besides 8 bedrooms, Le Petit Palais chalet offers sauna, massage room, gym and large indoor swimming pool room, all designed in elegant dark-bright combination.
